Tiffany Motyka has enjoyed working in student financial aid for many years in both two-year and four-year public and private institutions. She has experience in enrollment management administration, student affairs and residence life, and classroom experience as a faculty member. Tiffany came to Financial Aid Services (FAS) in 2017, and as a consultant, she supports financial aid offices across the country. She provides Interim Staffing as well as Consulting and Assessment services to improve business processes, strengthen compliance efforts, and implement action items to enhance student satisfaction. Tiffany is a firm believer in business analytics, collaborative data-driven decisions, and lean processes by thorough process-mapping and technology training.
Tiffany is familiar with several financial aid and enrollment management software systems, including Ellucian Banner, Desire2Learn, Degree Works, Argos and Cognos Reports, VAONCE Veteran Educational Benefit software, and the U.S. Department of Education’s suite of applications and websites for administering federal student aid. She has the capability to build the new year system tables, review financial aid processing rules, and create queries and reports in Banner to allow for improved practices and efficiency. Tiffany is comfortable leading and training a team, creating and providing presentations, and assisting in the accrual and interpretation of data for decision-making situations.
Tiffany received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from Francis Marion University. She also holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands where her research explored the workplace engagement of financial aid personnel.
