Adrienne Bell
Senior Associate Consultant
Adrienne Bell has nearly 15 years of student financial aid experience. This includes working in a variety of private 4-year institutions. Adrienne came to FAS in 2023. As a consultant, she assists colleges by providing interim staffing in the Financial Aid Office.
Her career began as a financial aid counselor managing a caseload and ensuring service level goals were attained. As an Associate Director, she oversaw the FAFSA verification process and managed the Federal Work Study (FWS) program. In her most recent role, she focused on providing students with effective customer service by using her excellent verbal and communication skills to collaborate with other offices on campus. She also monitored student completion rates, grade point average, and program length for compliance with federal regulations.
Some of Adrienne’s accomplishments include reviewing and evaluating financial aid policies and procedures to remain compliant with Federal Student Aid as well as institutional mandate, creating and executing financial aid seminars for local and campus community members, reviewing Satisfactory Academic Progress, and adjusting needs analysis data and awards as necessary for financial aid revisions.
Student Information Systems (SIS) and financial aid software systems that Adrienne has mastered include PowerFAIDS, Ellucian Colleague, CampusLogic, Slate, Salesforce, ImageNow, and the Department of Education’s suite of applications and website for administering federal student aid.
Adrienne received her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Sociology at Roanoke College
