Heidi Hunter-Goldsworthy
Senior Consultant
Heidi Hunter-Goldsworthy has over 40 years of student financial aid experience in both private and public institutional settings. Heidi came to FAS in 2018. As a consultant, she provides Interim Staffing, Consulting, and Assessment to assist financial aid offices in their efforts to strengthen compliance measures create processing efficiencies, and increase student satisfaction.
Her previous experience includes Director of Financial Aid positions at several private and public universities in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Florida. Heidi also worked for the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) as a Regional Director. Heidi has also consulted with two-year and for-profit institutions that offer programs in clock-hour and other nonterm and nonstandard academic calendar formats.
Experienced in several financial aid and student information systems, Heidi administered financial aid in Ellucian Banner, Oracle PeopleSoft, CNS Anthology, and the College Board PowerFAIDS systems. She is proficient with the U.S. Department of Education’s suite of applications and websites for the administration of Federal Student Aid.
Heidi is committed to supporting the financial aid profession. She served as the President of the Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (PASFAA), as Representative at Large for the Virginia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (VASFAA), as Co-Chair of the Webinar Training Committee for the Florida Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (FASFAA) and held committee positions within the Southern Association of Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA) and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA). She has conducted countless presentations at NASFAA’s Annual Conference and Ellucian Live as well as state and regional conferences throughout her career.
Heidi received her Bachelor of Science in Education and her Master’s in Science in Student Personnel Services and Counseling from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
