Tracy Craven
Consultant
Tracy Craven has over 20 years of student financial aid experience in different types of higher education settings. Tracy joined FAS in 2022. As a consultant, she provides services to colleges and universities throughout the country, empowering them to strengthen financial health, optimize enrollment and enhance student experience.
Staff training, management, and leadership are just a few of Tracy’s core competencies. Over the years, she has developed a keen eye for compliance. Tracy excels at translating complex regulatory requirements into easy-to-understand policies and procedures. This skill has led to more than two decades of clean audits for the institutions where she has served as financial aid director.
Tracy is experienced with several financial aid software systems, including Oracle PeopleSoft, Anthology, Ellucian Banner as well as the federal databases and websites for administering Title IV Federal Student Aid.
Throughout her career, Tracy has been involved in the financial aid community as a volunteer as well as an appointed leader. She currently serves as the Membership Chair for the Colorado Association of Financial Aid Administrators (CAFAA).
Tracy received a Bachelor of Science at Metropolitan State College in Denver, and a Master of Organizational Management from Regis University.
