Nicole Verrett

Nicole Verrett is the Vice President of Business Development at Financial Aid Services (FAS), where she leads strategic initiatives to drive growth and reinforce FAS’s mission of supporting higher education institutions.
In this role, she is instrumental in expanding FAS’ impact by developing long-term partnerships, cultivating relationships with mission-driven institutions, and strengthening our reputation as a trusted resource. Her leadership ensures that FAS continues to provide high-quality solutions to colleges and universities navigating the complexities of financial aid management.
With over 25 years of experience in student financial aid, Nicole brings a deep understanding of the industry and a commitment to empowering institutions to serve their students effectively. Prior to joining FAS, she worked in Bank of America’s education finance division, managing a regional territory and later serving as a liaison to the bank’s largest national account. Her background also includes hands-on experience as a financial aid officer at Clark Atlanta University and Dillard University, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities within financial aid administration.
Nicole is actively engages in state, regional, and national associations focused on financial aid, business offices, enrollment management, and student development. She is a sought-after speaker at industry events and has cultivated a longstanding relationship with the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) community, advocating for their unique needs and contributions to higher education.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Dillard University and a Master of Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Through her leadership, expertise, and dedication, she continues to play a vital role in advancing the mission of FAS and the institutions it serves.
