Aria has over 22 years of student financial aid experience in two-year public, four-year private, and research one institutions and came to FAS in 2023.   As a FAS consultant, she will provide support to several schools across the country. She provides interim staffing, consulting, and assessment services to improve business processes, strengthen compliance efforts, and enhance student satisfaction.

Her previous experience includes working as Director of Financial Aid at Georgia State University, Associate Director of Financial Aid at Midlands Technical College, and Director at Denmark Technical College. She has maintained clean state and federal audits. She has experience using data as a proactive measure to improve and streamline processes, professional development, staff training, and resolution of state grant findings and outstanding federal balances.

Aria is experienced with several financial aid software systems, including Ellucian Banner, Ellucian Colleague, Campus Logic, Salesforce, and websites for administering federal and state aid.

Aria received her Bachelor of Science in education from Benedict College, Master of Business Administration from Webster University and is pursuing her EdD in Learning, Leadership and Organizational Development from the University of Georgia. She has also earned twelve NASFAA Credentials and is a NASFAA Certified Financial Aid Administrator.
