Director of Campus Partnerships
Ben Hein is a business development professional with a passion for building relationships and driving growth through a consultative approach. With a Master’s degree in Sport Administration, Ben spent a decade in intercollegiate athletic administration, serving as a Director of Events before transitioning into marketing and sales.
Over the past six years, Ben has developed a strong track record in sales, contributing to high-growth companies and playing a role in a company exit at TOPO following its acquisition by Gartner. His experience spans full-cycle sales roles at multiple organizations, including FieldEdge, where he worked closely with new and existing clients to identify and implement business solutions.
Now, at FAS, Ben focuses on proactive outreach to potential clients, generating new business and revenue while making the sales process more accessible and engaging. He is deeply motivated by FAS’s mission to make higher education affordable and attainable, helping prospective students overcome the financial barriers to higher education.
Ben’s expertise in sales is rooted in empathy—he prides himself on stepping into the customer’s shoes, understanding their challenges, and providing solutions that genuinely meet their needs. His ability to connect with clients and simplify complex processes sets him apart in his field. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his fiancée, exploring nature through hiking, camping, and lake trips. He is also passionate about fitness, reading, and sharing meaningful moments with family and friends.
