Delinda “Lindy” Hall, Ed.D.
Executive Consultant
Delinda “Lindy” Hall brings a wealth of experience in higher education administration, particularly in Enrollment Management, with expertise spanning Financial Aid, the Registrar’s office, Student Financial Services, and Admissions. Over the course of ten years as Registrar at a private, four-year institution, Lindy successfully led the implementation of an academic record-keeping system that supported the adult degree-completion program, growing it from inception to serving thousands of students. As Director of Financial Aid, she collaborated closely with Information Technology Services to implement a system for awarding and tracking financial aid in non-term programs.
Lindy’s broad range of experience and her strategic understanding of how technology can enhance process efficiencies have proven invaluable to the institutions she has served as a consultant for FAS. She has worked with clients across diverse educational sectors, including private four-year institutions, graduate and professional schools, public two-year colleges, and private R2 Doctoral institutions, often stepping into roles such as Interim Director of Financial Aid or serving in a consulting capacity.
Client schools that have partnered with FAS, where Lindy has held interim management roles, consistently report significant improvements in communication and collaboration across administrative departments. Her deep understanding of the “big picture” of higher education policies, processes, and technology, combined with her experience as a practitioner, has resulted in immediate positive impacts in interim roles, particularly in Financial Aid or Student Financial Services. Lindy’s attention to detail, expertise in Federal financial aid regulations, and the guidance offered through Uniform Guidance Single Audits and Program Review findings have been instrumental in helping many institutions navigate complex compliance issues.
Lindy has also been involved in professional associations. She served two consecutive terms on the Texas Common Course Numbering System Board as a TACRAO representative for private institutions, participated in two non-consecutive terms on a national school advisory committee, and contributed to the planning of an annual conference for financial aid professionals for two years.
A dedicated life-long learner, Lindy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from LeTourneau University, an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from Azusa Pacific University.
