Emmie Joyce is an accomplished financial aid professional with over 15 years of experience supporting student success at four-year private and nonprofit institutions. Throughout her career at Widener University, Chestnut Hill College, and Thomas Jefferson University, Emmie has provided leadership in key areas of financial aid administration, including Return of Title IV, Federal Work Study, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Verification, state grant programs, and overall daily operations.
In her current role, Emmie focuses on streamlining and enhancing business processes related to financial aid packaging and disbursement. She leads the annual setup and configuration of the Ellucian Banner system, including the development and maintenance of algorithmic rules for packaging and budgeting. In addition to Banner, Emmie manages several other systems integral to the Financial Aid Office, such as Student Forms, Campus Communicator, Banner Communication Manager (BCM), and Automic.
Emmie is also responsible for the reconciliation of federal aid programs, including the Federal Direct Loan and Pell Grant programs. Her in-depth knowledge of Ellucian Banner and U.S. Department of Education systems and platforms positions her as a valuable resource for system implementation, new year setup, and federal aid processing.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University and a Master of Science in Higher Education from Capella University.
