Juliana Davis
Senior Associate Consultant
Juliana Davis is a financial aid professional with over 10 years of experience in both four-year public and four-year private institutions, as well as graduate institutions. Juliana came to FAS in 2024. As a consultant, she supports financial aid offices across the country.
She began her career as a Financial Aid Advisor for the call center at Texas State University, a four-year public institution. She quickly moved forward to become a Financial Aid Program Specialist, specializing in SAP, assessing federal aggregate loan limits, and adjusting packaging for over awards. Over the years, she moved on to gain valuable experience working for two private a four- year private and a private for-profit graduate institution. She worked closely with her assignees 1 to 1 to assist with the financial aid process completely. During her time at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, she was rapidly promoted where she specialized in many areas of financial aid processing.
Juliana is highly proficient in performing verification, Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), processing loans, and packaging federal, state, and institutional awards. She understands the complexities of institutional, program, and student eligibility. She has further experience on need analysis in both federal and institutional methodologies (FM and IM). Juliana has experience with various financial aid systems, including Ellucian Banner 9, College Board PowerFAIDS, along with the U.S. Department of Education’s suite of applications and website for administering Federal Student Aid, as well as TouchNet, Jenzabar, and Salesforce experience. She is experienced with reviewing reports for compliance and making any adjustments needed for packaging. She has also served as a School Certifying Official (SCO) for Veterans Affairs.
She is highly regarded for her patience and empathy in customer service and her expertise in assisting families to better understand the FAFSA, TASFA, and CSS Profile applications and complete them accurately.
During her career, she has been a member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), and the Texas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (TASFAA). While a member of TASFAA, she has not only volunteered for the annual conferences, but also led the Mentor/Protégé Initiative for new Financial Aid Advisors.
Juliana holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from California State University Long Beach. She continues to look for professional development opportunities to not only gain more knowledge, but also seek new ideas from her peers in the industry. “My love for seeing my students attain their academic goals is what rewards me. Their financial aid should not be a hinderance to achieving their dreams.”
