Krista has more than 25 years of student financial aid experience in two-year and four-year private for-profit and non-profit colleges and universities. As a consultant she supports financial aid offices across the country. She provides Interim Staffing, Consulting and Assessment Services to improve business processes, strengthen compliance efforts and enhance student satisfaction.
Krista’s career began as the Financial Aid Director for a court reporting and allied health college in South Florida. She later became a Financial Aid Director at a for-profit and non-profit school system in Florida, Keiser University, where she was promoted to the role of Regional Director of Financial Aid. Later in her career she held Regional Director roles at Health Career Institute (FL) and Carrington College (WA), overseeing numerous campuses throughout Idaho, Washington, Nevada, Florida, and Oregon. She has extensive expertise providing remote support at all levels including awarding, student engagement, training, auditing, and compliance.
Krista has used several software systems and has the most experience with Anthology, in addition to the U.S. Department of Education’s suite of applications and websites for administering federal student aid.
Throughout her career Krista has been active in state and national financial aid associations including FASFAA (FL) and NASFAA. She has a passion for financial and enjoys volunteering to assist college-bound students with FAFSA submissions.
Krista earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Applied Management from Everglades University and an Associate of Science in Paralegal studies, which she attributes to her keen ability to comprehend and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
