Melissa King

Melissa King comes to FAS with a deep background in public policy and education technology.  Her Ed Tech career began at Dalton Education, another successful Atlanta based company. There she helped to implement an account management department  by nurturing relationships with top-tier universities across the country, such as NYU and Berkeley.

Following that, she worked through an acquisition of Gradescope, an AI assisted grading platform, by Turnitin. At Turnitin, she managed a team of BDRs, helping them learn how to investigate and grow strategic sales pipelines. Through her work on Capitol Hill, she has a unique understanding of the ever-changing landscape of higher education policy. In her free time, Melissa likes to swim, fish, and be on the water in any way. She lives in Sausalito, CA with her husband and two year old son, Beckett.
