Rebecca Hynes

Rebecca (Becca) Hynes has several years of student financial aid and student accounts experience in four-year private institutions and came to Financial Aid Services (FAS) in 2022. As a FAS consultant, she supports financial aid offices across the country and provides Interim Staffing and Consulting services to improve business processes, strengthen compliance efforts, and enhance student satisfaction.

Her experience includes working as both Assistant Director of Financial Aid and Assistant Director of Student Financial Services (overseeing the Student Accounts area) at Eastern Nazarene College. Rebecca has also worked as a Financial Aid Counselor and a New Student Financial Aid Counselor, working closely with Enrollment Services. Rebecca is experienced with Ellucian Colleague, and the U.S. Department of Education’s suite of applications and websites for administering federal student aid, as well as TouchNet for Student Accounts purposes and enrollment applications Slate and Recruiter.

Rebecca served on the Massachusetts Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA) conference committee and was an active member of the New England Bursar Association (NEBA). She was also a presenter on financial aid and affordability for Christian Higher Education at North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals (NACCAP) college fairs across the New England region.

Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical and Research Psychology from Eastern Nazarene College and her Masters in Higher Education Administration from Eastern Nazarene College. Rebecca is also a commissioned Human Resources Officer, as a First Lieutenant in the US Army Reserve.
