Sabrina Harlan

Sabrina Harlan has over 15 years of higher education related experience, at managerial levels, in student business services with four-year, private not-for-profit institutions. As one of Financial Aid Services’ (FAS) independent consultants for Student Business Services (SBS). She may be engaged to provide bursar/student account office interim staffing in managerial positions or provide consulting services to assess and enhance business processes, address compliance issues and enhance customer service, among other concerns.
Her experience includes serving as director of student accounts and being promoted to director of student financial services at Cambridge College (MA). Prior to that, she was associate director of student accounts and managed special programs (oversight of 22 non-traditional programs) at Berklee College of Music (MA). In addition, she was its Perkins Loan manager for several years. Sabrina is currently an administrative assistant to the Senior Vice President and Vice President of the Global Sourcing Services of TJX Companies.
Sabrina has experience with software systems, including Jenzabar EX, Ellucian (Datatel) Colleague, and College Board’s PowerFAIDS. She has used the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), Educational Computer Systems, Inc (ECSI), and Tuition Management Systems (TMS) to administer federal student aid, 1098-T’s and student refunds.
Sabrina has been a long-standing member of the Massachusetts (MA) Bursar Association. As an integral member of leadership teams at Cambridge College, she sponsored student awareness campaigns and staff development activities.
Sabrina received her bachelor’s degree from Franklin Pierce University (NH), a graduate certificate in accounting from Bentley College (MA), and a Master of Management from Cambridge College (MA).
